These first pictures are of Borobudur, the impressive Buddhist Temple just a few miles northwest of Yogyakarta. It is said to give the person wisdom who touches a Buddha statue at the temple. (All three of us touched the statue- you will have to judge the results.)
From there we traveled to Yogya and visited the Kraton, home of sultans. Then we went to visit the Hindu Temple of Prambanan.
